Bircher Muesli

Super simple bircher that can be prepared in advance for busy mornings. This recipe makes 3 – 4 serves and can be kept in the fridge for 3 days.

You will need

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup whole almonds (chopped)
  • 1 cup Coconut water
  • One green apple (grated)
  • Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

Method:

  1. Grate apple directly into a 1.5 litre container (for storage) then squeeze a small amount of lemon juice over the apple to stop it going brown
  2. Add all dry ingredients to your container
  3. Stir so that its is completely combined with grated Apple
  4. Add coconut water and stir through
  5. Press muesli down, cover and place in fridge over night.
