These super charged bliss balls remind me of my Grandma’s Lemon Slice – just without the sugar. I choose to use DōTERRA lemon essential oil because it’s the only essential oil I truly believe is of high enough quality to be ingested.
You will need:
- 1 cup almonds
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 1/3 cup dates
- Rind of 1 lemon
- Juice of half a lemon
- 5 drops DōTERRA Lemon Essential Oil
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Method:
- Place almonds, oats and coconut in food processor and blitz for 20 – 30 seconds
- Add dates, lemon juice, rind, DōTERRA Lemon Essential Oil and chia seeds
- Blitz until ingredients are combine
- Roll into balls, place on tray and allow to firm in fridge before transferring to an airtight container
- Makes approx. 12 – 16 balls
